RENTAL POLICIES

The customer hereby rents bicycles from Bike Rental Barcelona(BRB), subject to all terms and conditions of this agreement:

1. Bike Rental Barcelona rents bikes only prior booking.
2. The rented equipment will be delivered to the customer's hotel or at a meeting point. Rental day period starts at 10:00 h and ends at 20:00 h. Overnight rental can be agreed with Bike Rental Barcelona.
3. The bicycles will be picked up on the day and time shown on the rental Contract. Customer delays, both on delivery and pick up of bikes, without notifying Bike Rental Barcelona, will result in an additional charge of 5,99 € if delivery & pick up service must be re-programmed plus 2 Euros for every hour /fraction of hour of delay. At the end of the rental period the customer must return the bicycles to a Bikerental Barcelona representative identified with the original rental contract form and never to the hotel owners or attendants.

4. Delivery and pick-up of bikes can be requested for any hotel or other accommodation located in Barcelona city center (Zip-Codes:08001 - 08002 - 08003 - 08004- 08005 - 08006 - 08007 - 08008 - 08009 - 08010 - 08011- 08012 - 08013 - 08014 - 08015 - 08018 - 08019 - 08021- 08025 - 08029 - 08036 - 08037).

RESERVATION, PAYMENTS, DEPOSIT
5.Bike reservations have no charge and must be done with enough time in advance in order for Bike Rental Barcelona  to garantee availability. But if the customer needs a bike on the same day he/she may call (+34) 666 057 655 to check for availability. The customer can also reserve a bike by submitting the on-line form / reserving by email at info@bikerentalbarcelona.com
When reserving from abroad or when reserving with more than a week in advance it is necessary to RECONFIRM once the customer has arrived to Barcelona.
6. Method of payment: cash only payed at the moment of the delivery for the complete rental period reserved.
7. Deposit: On delivery of the bike/s the customer will be asked for a security deposit (100 € per bike) unless he/she provides Bike Rental Barcelona with proper ID( passport, driving licence or National Identity Card for EU-Citizens). The deposit will be refunded at the moment of pick-up.
8. Cancelations without charge are only admitted 24 h in advance. Cancelations after this time or at the moment of delivery will be fully charged according to the customer's reservation.

9.The customer who signs the Rental Contract has to be at least 18 years old and will be responsible for the rented equipment.

10. Early return: If the customer returns the bike early no refund will be made.

RENTAL EQUIPMENT

11. The rented bicycles and equipment may only be used by the designated customer and the members of his/her party as mentioned in the Rental Contract.

12. The customer is obliged to take good care of the rented equipment and to protect them from damage, loss or theft. If any of the mentioned situations ocurred during the rental period, the customer will be charged at the moment for the full costs at market prices. At the end of the rental period, a Bikerental Barcelona representative will determine the conditions of the rented materials.  The customer is obliged to lock the bicycle/s properly at all times when unattended(pass the lock through the saddle,frame and wheels and attach the bike to a fix post). It is highly recommeded to keep the bikes with you when possible. In case of loss or theft of the bicycle/s, components or any other accessories, Bike Rental Barcelona will charge the customer the full cost of the missing items at market price.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
13. Third party liability insurance coverage is included in the bicycle rental price.
14. The customer is responsible for adequate personal insurance coverage for risks that may occur during the rental period. Bike Rental Barcelona is not liable for any claims for body injury or harm, accidents, damage caused to third person property or loss of personal belonging  caused by weather, sickness, or any other causes whatsoever beyond the control of Bike Rental Barcelona.

15. It is the responsibility of the customer and his/her group to respect Spanish traffic regulations.

16. Exclusive place of jurisdiction shall be Barcelona, Spain. This contract shall be governed by Spanish law.
